“Shoom Of The Rozzvan”
By Orville Neeley
Lobbing strange and dodgy decoys
Bam ba lam, I nearly busted my head
Fallin from the stage in Detroit’s
Getting harder to prevent
My guitar survived the flight
Meditate and finish this life
Ew
Ew
Do you remember the times
When nobody was lookin
And we weren’t concerned
With what they were doing
Nobody cared
Didn’t seem to anyway
Well, do you?
Ew
Ew
I don’t care for much anymore
Hope to die before I wake
Fate could take an easy detour
Still I’d find a harder way
Sorrow flows like watered wine
Suicide won’t take me this time, uh uh
Ew
I said, ew
Do you remember the times
When nobody was lookin
And we weren’t concerned
With what they were doing
Nobody cared
Didn’t seem to anyway
Well, do you?
Ew
I said, ew

A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
